Eszter is a young female illustrator based in Los Angeles.
She was born and raised in Taipei city, Taiwan. She moved to Los Angeles when
she was 13 until now. Her childhood memories and wondering became her
inspiration and unique insight into art. She is fascinated with patterns,
colors, flowers, fashion, fingers, legs, shoes, and the beauty of awkwardness.
Also she loves and enjoys the atmosphere of coziness and flora combine with some
sort of unexpected weirdness. Eszter's work contains her strong personal
attachments with things surround her and express in a unique way. She
especially loves using gouache, ink pen, and collages for her art working on
different surfaces and dimension. She is currently attending Art Center College
of Design in Pasadena for Bachelor of Fine Art specializing illustration
design. She loves illustrating and designing for advertising, merchandise, and

New York City Scene Plate Design
My favorite class in this term is the licensing class teach by Anne and Christine. Our first project is to design a series of plate illustration with NYC scene. Since it's a collection of four plates, I need think if something that customers will not wanna get them without any one of them four. I choose the category of fashion; however, I took Statue of Liberty as my concept and developed street fashion idea derived from it. Besides, I contain culture influences in NY such as famous artists like Keith haring, yayoi kusama, Milton glaser art as pattern to indicate NY. Very frustrating process but very exciting.
